GOSHEN, NY – On Saturday, July 13, 2024,Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, released the following statements on Facebook and Twitter following the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump. 

Right now, our concern and our prayers are with President Trump and all those in attendance as we learn more about what appears to be an assassination attempt. No matter our passions, there is no place for violence in American politics. None! Thank you to the brave Secret Service, law enforcement, and all first responders who reacted quickly. God bless the United States of America. Pray for President Donald Trump and the United States of America.
