For Immediate Release:

GOSHEN, NY –

Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, released the following statement after Pat Ryan voted against the SAVE Act, a bill that would strengthen election integrity by requiring proof of U.S. citizenship for voter registration.

Pat Ryan will stop at nothing to put the needs of illegal migrants before the needs of New York 18 residents. In 2019, he signed an executive order turning Ulster County into a Sanctuary County, barring local agencies from cooperating with federal authorities. Now, he’s doubling down by opposing measures to protect our elections and block illegal aliens from registering to vote. Securing our elections should unite us, and ensuring only U.S. Citizens can vote in our elections should not be controversial.
