GOSHEN, NY – Today, Alison Esposito, 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, has been named to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Young Gun Program. Esposito is one of 26 candidates across the country added to this select program.
I am honored to be named a Young Gun by the NRCC. I am appreciative of the confidence of Speaker Mike Johnson, Leader Scalise, Whip Emmer, Chairman Hudson, and House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik. Our campaign continues to gain momentum and support on a National and Local level and this designation of the Young Gun program further underscores that people know we are going to win this race. This November, residents of the Mid-Hudson Valley want fresh leadership and we need to elect a Representative who stands for commonsense, not be a rubber stamp for the failed policies of President Biden and Vice President Harris. The Young Gun program mentors and supports candidates in races across the country and works to provide them with the necessary tools to run successful, winning campaigns against their Democratic opponents.
The program requires candidates to work towards specific goals and meet benchmarks throughout the election cycle to ensure their campaigns remain competitive, well-funded and communicative within their districts.
Esposito was added to the Speaker’s Slate earlier this year. She has been endorsed and supported by every member of House Republican leadership and continues to campaign hard across New York’s 18th Congressional District.
