GOSHEN, NY – On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, received the endorsement of the Lieutenants Benevolent Association of the New York City Police Department.
“Alison’s focus is primarily on bringing common sense back into government: She wants to reverse the damage created by progressive criminal justice policies, like Bail Reform and Raise the Age, which have reduced the safety and quality of life for all New Yorkers. She wants to reduce inflation, the cost of living, and taxes. She wants to ensure that our veterans are properly cared for. She wants to safeguard the benefits that our seniors have worked to attain, i.e., Social Security and Medicare. She wants to secure our borders to secure our country. She will advocate for parents to be partners in their children’s education and not to the dictates of educational bureaucracies.
Alison’s proven record of civic service and her devotion to addressing pertinent issues impacting on the residents of the 18th Congressional District prove that she is the best choice to represent the residents of Orange, Dutchess and Ulster Counties in the United States Congress,
Louis Turco, President of the Lieutenants Benevolent Association
Esposito was previously endorsed by the NYPD Superior Officers Association Retired, the New York 10-13 Association, the Westchester Policemen’s Benevolent Association Inc., and the Sergeants Benevolent Association.
