GOSHEN, NY – Today, Alison Esposito, 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and candidate for Congress, issued the following statement regarding President Biden’s remarks that he would deny Israel the weapons it needs to defend itself if it invades Rafah:

No one believed President Biden when he pledged his commitment to supporting Israel was ‘ironclad’. When it comes time for him to boldly lead, he turns his back on our greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel. Our adversaries are emboldened when Joe Biden is in Power. We must continue to fully support Israel as they work to eradicate Hamas. I was committed to fighting terrorism in the NYPD and I am committed to fighting terrorism in all its forms as a Member of Congress. Israel can always count on my full support
