GOSHEN, NY – Today, Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, issued the following statement after ISIS claimed responsibility for an attack in Moscow where at least 133 people were killed, and hundreds were injured.
My heart aches for the innocent lives who were lost and for those who were injured following this terrorist attack. I pray for them and their families. The videos and pictures we are all witnessing are gut-wrenching. Any act of terror on innocent civilians must be called out and strongly condemned by all.
ISIS, like all terror organizations founded on murder, fear, and destruction, must be eliminated from our planet. We continue to see heinous acts of terror carried out across the world.
The world is safer when America has strong leadership and when we are not emboldening our adversaries and appeasing countries like Iran who support terrorists. This November, Americans have to protect the international community and elect leaders who will keep America and world safe and secure.
Alison Esposito
