For Immediate Release:

GOSHEN, NY – Alison Esposito, 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, launched a new coalition website today detailing her unyielding commitment to our men and women in law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day. The website outlines Alison’s plan to partner with and support a broad coalition of New York’s law enforcement groups and community members to combat crime and ensure that police officers have the support and resources necessary to do their jobs and keep us safe.

Esposito dedicated her life to public service and knows from personal experience what a difficult job it is. That’s why she understands we must work together as a growing coalition that is united in the struggle to back the blue and empower the law enforcement community to bring law and order back to our streets.

Esposito believes that the top responsibility of any elected official is to keep its citizens safe. In Congress, while others just talk about what should be done to support our police and public safety, Esposito will step up to the plate and actually fight to deliver results in keeping our communities safe.

Alison Esposito issued the following statement:

I’m a cop, not a career politician. In today’s upside-down world, our political leaders have created a system where criminals are protected over law-abiding New Yorkers. Pro-criminal laws supported by New York Democrats have effectively surrendered our streets to lawlessness. Enough is enough. We need leaders who unequivocally support the incredible men and women who are defending our communities and keeping our streets safe. In Congress, I will always fight for the heroic law enforcement officers who keep New York families, neighborhoods and communities safe. I encourage law-enforcement groups and those who back the blue to join our movement and elect more leaders who will stand up for our brave law enforcement officers.

Esposito’s plan to secure our streets and support our law enforcement:

  • Alison will work tirelessly with state and local elected officials to secure the safety of all New Yorkers.
  • She opposes Kathy Hochul’s regressive criminal justice laws, such as Cashless Bail, the HALT Act, and Raise the Age.
  • Alison will hold radical District Attorneys who refuse to enforce the law accountable to the public.
  • Alison served with the NYPD for nearly 25 years. She was a Cop and Commanding Officer and understands the support our men and women in Blue need and deserve. For far too long, Police Officers across our nation have been treated as public enemy number one. To secure our streets for New Yorkers, we need our members of Congress to stand with and support our officers.
  • In Congress, she will work tirelessly to support a Federal Law Enforcement Bill of Rights, keep qualified immunity, and oppose any effort to defund the police.
  • We must protect New Yorkers from the rise in hate we have seen. Antisemitic attacks, attacks due to race, religion or sexual orientation must be confronted and crushed and NOT tolerated.
