GOSHEN, NY – Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, had a jam-packed week campaigning throughout NY-18 and celebrating July 4th weekend. 

On Sunday, June 30, 2024,  Alison joined the Dutchess County Republican Committee for a Hudson Valley Renegades game where she was supposed to be throwing out the first pitch. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and the game was rained out. Alison still had the chance to practice for next time!

On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Alison was in Greenvale Park, enjoying the Town of Poughkeepsie Summer Nights Concert Series. 

On Wednesday, July 3, 2024,  she started off Independence Day celebrations in Port Jervis, with the Majority Leader of the Orange County Legislature, Tom Faggione at the Food Truck and Fireworks festival. 

Following her stop in Port Jervis, Alison attended the Town of Wallkill Fireworks and Drone Display alongside Town Supervisor George Serrano, and Candidate for New York State Assembly Lou Ingrassia.

On Thursday July 4, 2024, Alison kicked off 4th of July celebrations in the Hyde Park 4th of July Parade! Alison marched with the Chairman of the Dutchess County Legislature, Will Truit, Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino, Dutchess County Comptroller Gregg Pulver, and candidates for New York State Assembly, Patrick Sheehan, and Stephan Krakower! 

Alison wrapped up her Independence Day at the Cornwall 4th of July Celebration, connecting with voters!

On Friday, July 5, 2024, Alison supported local small businesses at the Goshen Farmers Market. 

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, in Cornwall, she helped the Knights Of Columbus, Council 7460, as they prepared meals to deliver to the Newburgh Ministry.

Later that evening, she joined Town Supervisor Dave Plavchak in Lloyd for their Old Fashion Fireworks show. 

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, and Sunday, July 7, 2024, Alison spent time at the Great American Weekend in Goshen! She met with concerned residents who stopped by the Orange County Republican Committee booth. She was joined by New York State Assemblyman Brian Maher, Candidate for New York State Assembly Tom Lapolla, the Orange County Young Republicans, and U.S. Senate Candidate Mike Sapricone.
