GOSHEN, NY – Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, issued the following statement calling on Pat Ryan to clarify his stance on his support for President Joe Biden. Ryan has been dodging questions on this since the debate.
Issue after issue, Pat Ryan fails to show the courage and leadership required to do what is right. We can debate which party has the best policies and ideas to improve Americans’ everyday lives. However, it is becoming increasingly clear to many Americans and world leaders that Joe Biden does not have the cognitive and physical ability to continue as the leader of the free world. It is long past time for Pat Ryan to find a backbone and be honest with Hudson Valley voters about what is truly happening. Biden is unfit to serve as President, and instead of recognizing the truth, Ryan continues to be a rubber stamp for Biden’s failed policies and acts as if nothing is wrong. Hudson Valley families need and deserve results and a member of Congress who will have the moral compass, the character and the ability to ensure that Americans are safe, free and protected by strong and capable leadership.
