Goshen, NY – On October 18, 2024, Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, released the following statement on newly released evidence showing a sharp increase in crime under the Biden-Harris Administration:
Violent crime is up under the Biden-Harris Administration, and Americans are suffering as a result. The radical anti-law enforcement pro-criminal policies of Pat Ryan and his fellow Democrats are responsible and on November 5th America will have their voices heard. We will hold criminals accountable for their actions and return public safety to our streets.

Updated FBI Crime data reveals a sharp increase in violent crime from 2021 to 2022. The updated crime data reflects previously unreported crime statistics with 80,029 more violent crimes overall, including an additional 1,699 murders, 7,780 rapes, 33,459 robberies, and 37,091, which were not reflected in the FBI’s original crime data report.
