Goshen, NY – On October 23, 2024, Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, participated in a roundtable on combating human trafficking, hosted by Assemblyman Brian Maher, co-chair of the Statewide Minority Task Force on Human Trafficking and Exploitation in Walden.

Following the roundtable, Alison toured the Orange County Jail and Orange County 911 Center with Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, County Sheriff Paul Arteta, and Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus.
I want to extend my thanks to Assemblyman Brian Maher for inviting me to participate in today’s Human Trafficking Roundtable. In Congress, I will always fight to support our law enforcement as they work to stop the scourge of human trafficking across New York and our nation. Today was a reminder of the important role law enforcement plays in combating human trafficking and why we must always have their back.
Alison Esposito
