Goshen, NY – On October 23, 2024, Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, received the endorsement of the Dutchess County Republican Legislative Caucus.
Alison’s experience is exactly what we need in Washington, DC. She has dedicated her life to protecting the safety and well being of the public, rising through the ranks of the NYPD over a decorated 25-year career. She acutely understands the dangers posed to the Hudson Valley by the drug crisis, compounded by misguided pro-criminal policies such as cashless bail. Alison will use her experience to prioritize the safety of all residents, and I am proud to offer her my endorsement.
Chairman Will Truitt
Alison Esposito will be a crucial partner for us in Washington. She has the heart of a public servant, as evidenced by her more than two decades of service in the NYPD. Dutchess County needs a representative who will work to keep our community safe, prioritize meaningful tax relief, and commit to reversing the runaway inflation we have seen in recent years. Alison has demonstrated that she will prioritize the needs of our shared constituents and I am honored to support her this November.
Majority Leader Dierdre Houston
At this critical moment for our nation, we need a common sense leader like Alison Esposito fighting for our best interest in Congress.“ “We live in one of the most beautiful corners of the country, but it has become increasingly difficult for the people we represent to make ends meet due to the onerous policies and runaway spending we continue to see out of Albany and Washington. Alison will go to Congress with one goal in mind; to represent the people of the Hudson Valley who sent her there. She is exactly the kind of leader that we need at this moment.
Assistant Majority Leader Michael Polasek
I’m proud to support Alison Esposito for Congress. Her experience as a law enforcement professional is second to none and she is committed to tackling the issues that are at the forefront of the minds of our constituents. We need a partner in Washington who will help us keep our community safe and thriving and Alison is that leader.
Chair of the Family & Human Services Committee Faye Garito
Since beginning her campaign in October of 2023, Esposito has been endorsed by numerous organizations and elected officials including the Ulster County Republican Legislative Caucus.
