Goshen, NY – On October 16th, 2024, Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, defeated her opponent Pat Ryan in their second debate. Esposito issued the following statement at the conclusion of the debate:
Just like we saw in the first debate, Pat Ryan, can’t escape his complicity in the disastrous failures of the Biden-Harris administration and their policies. He is consistently wrong on every issue that matters to Hudson Valley voters—whether it’s the border, the economy, foreign policy, or crime. People recognize that he’s not what the Hudson Valley needs.
I presented a different vision for our future, one that prioritizes securing our southern border, reducing crime, enhancing public safety, cutting unnecessary regulations, and alleviating the tax burden on New Yorkers. Unlike Pat Ryan, I won’t just talk about solving these issues; I will work to make real progress and deliver results for the residents of New York’s 18th Congressional District.
