For Immediate Release:

Goshen, NY – On October 7, 2024,  Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, received the endorsement of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC). NBPC is the exclusive representative of approximately 90% (18,000) of all Border Patrol agents and support personnel assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol.

Alison Esposito will be a strong leader in Congress who will work to secure our borders and stand up for law enforcement and the brave men and women of the NBPC. With nearly 25 years in the NYPD, Alison understands the issues faced by those who serve in law enforcement and the challenges and difficulties of doing the job. Now more than ever we need leaders in Congress who will fight to restore law and order, ensure we have the resources to secure our border and protect our neighborhoods.

Paul Perez, NBPC President

Esposito has been a champion for our Border Patrol agents and repeatedly called out Pat Ryan and the Biden Administration for their failed border security policies.

In November 2023, she visited the southern border to witness the Biden Border Crisis firsthand. In January 2024, Esposito called for an end to Democrat pro-criminal policies that saw illegal migrants released from jail just hours after assaulting two NYPD officers.

In February 2024, Esposito admonished the Biden Administration for refusing to act as a surge of illegal migrants flowed across our southern border and in March she released a statement on the horrific death of Georgia teenager Laken Riley at the hands of an illegal immigrant.

In June, she criticized Biden’s executive action on the border during an interview with Fox News and in July called out Pat Ryan for signing an executive order to make Ulster County a sanctuary county during his tenure as Ulster County Executive.

In August, Esposito announced the launch of sanctuarypat.com to highlight Pat Ryan’s support of open-border and sanctuary policies.

Since beginning her campaign in October of 2023, Esposito has been endorsed by numerous law enforcement organizations in addition to the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC), including the: NYPD Superior Officers Association Retired, New York 10-13 Association, Westchester Policemen’s Benevolent Association Inc., Sergeants Benevolent Association, Lieutenants Benevolent Association, Captains Endowment Association, Police Conference of New York, and New York State Union of Police Associations.
