NEW YORK – Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, spent the last two weeks connecting with voters and campaigning throughout the district.
On Saturday, July 27, 2024, Alison joined the Dutchess County Republican Committee, New York State Senator Rob Rolison, Dutchess County Comptroller Gregg Pulver, Candidate for New York State Assembly Stephan Krakower, and volunteers to knock on doors in Poughkeepsie.
Following her stop in Poughkeepsie, Alison then spent time at the Orange County Fair.
On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, Alison held a meet and greet with the Saugerties Republican Committee, she spoke about the Biden-Harris border crisis, inflation, and her experience in the NYPD for 25 years.
On Thursday, August 1, 2024, Team Esposito attended the Orange County Republican Committee Annual Family BBQ.
On Saturday, August 3, 2024, the National Republican Congressional Committee opened their NY-18 Battle Station in Goshen. Alison, Congressman Anthony D’Esposito (NY-04), New York State Assemblymen Karl Brabenec, Brian Maher, Candidate for New York State Senate Dorey Houle, and candidates for New York State Assembly Tom Lapolla and Lou Ingrassia all helped open the new office. Over 60 volunteers attended the opening. The group then spent the afternoon door-knocking in Orange County.
On Sunday, August 4, 2024,the rain did not stop Alison from attending the Ulster County Fair, in New Paltz. She spent the afternoon talking with voters about the issues that matter most to them.
