For Immediate Release:

GOSHEN, NY – Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and Candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, issued the following statement following the resignation of United States Secret Service Director Kimerly Cheatle:

Right now, our concern and our prayers are with President Trump and all those in attendance as we learn more about what appears to be an assassination attempt. No Kimberly Cheatle sat under oath for hours yesterday and gave no clarity or transparency about the colossal security failures that took place in Butler, Pennsylvania. Not only is her resignation long overdue, President Biden should have shown strong leadership to the American people and fired her for her absolute incompetence. The American people deserve answers to the many questions we still have about what took place that day.our passions, there is no place for violence in American politics. None! Thank you to the brave Secret Service, law enforcement, and all first responders who reacted quickly. God bless the United States of America. Pray for President Donald Trump and the United States of America.

Alison Esposito

Esposito called on the Director to resign on multiple occasions first on July 17th and then on July 21st.
