GOSHEN, NY – Today, Alison Esposito, 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, issued the following statement marking the occasion of the six-month anniversary of war between Israel and Hamas:
Today marks six months since Hamas terrorists committed unspeakable acts of terror and violence in Israel murdering over 1,200 innocent civilians on October 7, 2023. Six months later, Hamas is still holding over 130 hostages, including Americans, that must all be released and returned home. America must always remain unequivocally committed to supporting our ally, Israel, and fight to ensure they have the resources they need to destroy Hamas.
Alison Esposito
To mark the six months of captivity for the hostages, Esposito joined the Jewish Federation of Dutchess County for a Solidarity Walk on the Walkway Over the Hudson River with local community member Maurice Shnaider, the Uncle of hostages Shiri Bibas, Baby Kfir and Ariel Bibas, and many concerned supporters.
