Team Esposito
Meet Alison
Alison Esposito was born and raised in Highland Mills, New York. She attended the State University of New York at Delhi, City University of New York’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy at Quantico, Virginia.
Alison proudly served in the New York City Police Department for nearly 25 years, rising to the rank of Deputy Inspector and Commanding Officer of the 70th Police Precinct. Following in the footsteps of her father, NYPD Chief Michael Esposito, Alison joined the force because she believes that those who are in danger, and cannot defend themselves, have the right to be safe, free, and protected.
Alison was a member of the Anti-Crime team, a plainclothes unit targeting violent street crime. After taking down some of the worst criminals, she joined the NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit (S.W.A.T. Rescue Team). She served in various other roles, including the Commander of Detective Squads, NYPD’s Gang Unit, and as the Commander of a Forensics Unit. Her career culminated as a Precinct Commander.
Alison was on a path to becoming an NYPD Chief but left a career in law enforcement to pursue a greater calling, running as the New York State Lieutenant Governor candidate alongside Congressman and Army veteran Lee Zeldin.
The Zeldin-Esposito ticket garnered more votes than any Republican statewide in decades. Throughout their historic state-wide campaign, Alison traveled to all 62 counties and heard from New Yorkers from all walks of life who were fed up with the outsized power of one-party Democrat rule in Washington, D.C., Albany, and New York City.
Now, Alison is committed to harnessing the energy of the commonsense wave, which brought New Yorkers from all walks of life and political ideologies together with the common purpose of putting the needs of their families and creating a better way of life before their political backgrounds.
Alison has witnessed fatally flawed pro-criminal policies like cashless bail, an ever-growing migrant crisis overtaking our country, a fatal fentanyl crisis, sky high inflation, and rogue District Attorneys refusing to enforce the law, contributing to our cities and states becoming less safe.
Now more than ever, New York needs capable, determined, and courageous leaders with integrity who will protect everyday New Yorkers, drive down their cost of living, and be their voice in Congress to fight against the failed policies of those progressive elected officials who have turned away from their constituents and chosen to put Power before People.
Alison resides in Goshen, New York.
